GAT Prayers for October, 2011

October - 2011

1        Lord, guide us as we prepare our hearts for service. 1 Corinthians 13

2        For Team bonding and cohesiveness, for both the Home Team and
Away Team. May we have true Christ-like love for one another. 
Philippians 2:1-11

3        That the team would be prepared physically, emotionally, and spiritually for the work ahead.  Ephesians 3:14-21

4        For the Argentinean Alpha team preparing for the GAT event.
          1 Timothy 2:1-6

5        That God continue to fill our team with excitement and confidence as we continue to prepare for this mission.  1 John 3

6        May our trust in the Lord be a blessing to others.
Jeremiah 17:7-8

7        Holy God, may the words of your mouth be more precious to me than thousands of pieces of silver and gold. Psalm 119:72

8        That we may help equip the saints for the work of ministry and building
          up the Body of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13

9        That the hearts of both teams be aligned with God’s desires as we prepare for the days to come.  Psalm 67
         
10      May we recognize we are all precious in God’s eyes. 1Peter 2:4

11      Strengthen me O God. Build me upon your foundation. 1Peter 2:5

12      That we have amazing strength in Christ.  Psalm 143:5-10  

13      We pray for protection against any spiritual warfare coming upon team
          members. Ephesians 6:10-18

14      Teach us your way O Lord and we will walk in your truth; give us
          undivided hearts. Psalm 86:11

15      Protect us from the snares of the enemy. Psalm 31:14-15

16      That God tends over every detail of this trip. Isaiah 40:25-31

17      May we delight in His Word. Jeremiah 15:16

18      Mighty God, be a shield about us. Shine your glory on us; and be the lifter of our heads. Psalm 3:3

19      Be still and hear His voice. Psalm 46:10

20      That integrity and uprightness protect the Away Team, because their hope is in You. Psalm 25:21

21      May He be exalted and His glory be seen over all the earth. Psalm 108:4-5

22      May the Lord’s Word spoken in Argentina, accomplish that which He
purposes. Isaiah 55:11

23      May He accomplish in us far more than we could ever ask or imagine.

24      May the prayers of the Home Team never be silent. Isaiah 62:6

25      May the Away Team go out in joy and gladness. Isaiah 35:10

26      May we perceive the new things that the Lord is about to do in
          Argentina. Isaiah 43:19

27      For a quiet spirit that we may hear His voice. Isaiah 50:4

28      May the teachings this day have a powerful impact on our church
          leaders. Jeremiah 31:33-34

29      That the Away Team uses His word to sustain the weary. Isaiah 50:4

30      May the Spirit move among the delegates today. John 3:8

31      In thanksgiving for the seeds planted in Buenos Aires. May God nourish
          their growth. Isaiah 12:3-5

November - 2011

1        That the Lord uses the GAT to change hearts. Jeremiah 24:7

2        May the Lord prepare for us a safe journey home. Psalm 16:5-6

3        May Buenos Aires reflect God’s joy and glory. Jeremiah 33:9

4        Father, may your favour rest upon us. Please establish the work of our
          hands. Psalm 90:17

5        May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in
          You. Psalm 33:22

6        That our relationship with God would be refreshed and renewed. 
 Psalm 27:4, Psalm 42:1

7        May Your saving power be known to all nations. Psalm 67

8        That the Argentineans continue to be filled with the Lord’s joy and
          rejoice. Isaiah 65:17-19

9        May our prayers find favour with You, Lord. Matthew 6:6
